Twin Souls

Today I was just thinking....
About whenever you were here
And I looked through my photo album....
And I started to think, well....
We had fun :)
And so I looked through it....
About three times
Eventually I changed it to Moonlight Sonata....
Of course! That's our song....
And then I set my bowl of apples on my Korean box....
Then I set my water on my desk,
like it was before.
I put on Moonlight Sonata,
and set my room up the way it was....
The lights, you know.
And then....I danced.
As I was dancing around the room...haha...with my fork,
I closed my eyes,
And when I opened them,
I swear I could see you...
....Dancing beside me....
Then, occasionally,
snatching the next apple and eating it.:)
Then you would drink your water,
and start dancing again....
It feels like sometimes you're right there with me.

Is it possible to have a twin soul? I mean, I know that there are soul mates, true love, the person you are destined to meet and love for the rest of your life, but what about twin souls. If there is someone out there for you to love and cherish as a husband or wife, then shouldn't there be someone, a friend, out there that should be just as close to you.

A soul twin knows you to your core, every aspect of you because they are like you. Yet you know them and they know you better than each of you know yourselves. Is it possible? My mother knows me better than I know myself simply because she raised me, but she views me as her daughter, not as her sister or friend. A soul twin is not identical to you in every way, simply many ways and quite different in others. A twin soul even though thousands of miles away can still feel and detect your every emotion. You can cry on their shoulders even when they are not with you. Just thinking about them gives you the strength you need to get through difficult times. When you are feeling depressed and need someone to say just the right thing to make you feel better, they don't even have to speak it because you already know what they are going to say.

A twin soul knows your every secret, and you know theirs. There are no boundaries, no comfort zones, no personal bubbles between you. You are as close as is possible between two human beings. You are the one that stands up for them or gives them the strength to stand up for themselves. They guide your dreams and sometimes they are even the voice inside your head telling you to do the right thing.

Your twin soul will never leave you, never abandon you. You may grow apart, you may change, but twin souls always come back together. They are gifts sent us by God to protect us, guide us, laugh with us, and cry with us. A soul twin is rare for there is only one for you, and you the only one for them. When you find the bond that connects you to another person, never let it weaken....it will always be there no matter how long a time may pass before you see them again, or not matter what hurtful things are said, time nor words nor wrongdoings can change that.

A soul twin will dance the dance of the fork faeries with you to the song that inspires you both (Moonlight Sonata). She will dress up in outrageous outfits with you just to go skipping around Wal-Mart to Irish jigs in the candel section. You sing at the top of your lungs with her while riding and swinging in the park. You dance in the rain together and admire the beauty of the day together. When you are far away, you lay on the roof at night and gaze upon the same stars and moon. You even have accidents that involve playground equipment within weeks of each other. One may chase a bug with a shoe while the other stands screaming on the kitchen counter. One may extinguish the kitchen fire while the other tries to salvage the burning food. One may go on a date while the other acts as chaperone. One may win the race up five flights of stairs to the top of the slide while the other wins the race sliding down. One may be scared while the other is brave. One may be brave while the other is scared. One teaches the other to put on makeup while the other teaches the one a piece of music. You pray for each other, laugh over good times past, and cry over hard times present. However, you always face a new day with the hope and strength given you after only a smile or a kind word from them.

I believe in soul twins, I am one just as God has sent me one. Each has one and is one themselves. The only missing piece of the puzzle is realization. One day it will simply click with a picture or a word or a smile or a song.

I have a twin soul and someday, we will dance and sing and laugh together before our Heavenly Father and distance and time and money will no longer keep us apart. Our shared salvation and love for Jesus Christ will bring us together with all of God's children someday.I just wanted to let you know, I love you so much Katie-chan....chao tam biet my soul twin. You know, I was reading Andrew's blog about that claymation film. I was about to comment and say I have not seen the movie, but I quickly decided that I would say no comment. But then I paused again and realized something. What idiot would comment to say that they have no comment?!! Oh tis fine. I don't think I'm an idiot, most of the time. - I am removing the comment option for this post by the way, so don't even try. - Well, anyway, my foot is falling asleep, the broken one and two-a-days are occupying all my morning nap time so....necessito tomar una siesta.....adios muchachos........

I'm already counting down the days to Christmas vacation. School is going to kill me. By the way, Katie-chan, how is school....hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah....you're in school and I'm not. I take it back, I'm sorry. Yeu nhe.....tam biet
