Summertime Hermit

Hey John, yes I know who you are. It's good to hear from people I know, especially because in the summertime I spend so much time away from everyone that I am often percieved as a hermit for this specific season of the year. However, contrary to common belief, I am actually an outgoing and vivacious person in the summertime. I spend most of it traveling, visiting friends who live far away, writing, or burying myself in my horn and my music, getting ready for band in the fall.....I know I know that I'm hopeless but I just can't help it, I absolutely love music and I can't escape the curse. (The curse is not being able to schedule my time, buy clothes, talk to friends, go shopping, go to the movies, or do anything without considering my time committment to band and music. I'm afraid I'm stuck and that it's completely incurable since I want to major in music in college.) Anyway....

I'm having a great summer so far, thankyou for wishing me well. I have been to state competition, Schlitterbahn, Galveston, Drum Major Camp (which believe it or not is a total blast), and I will be leaving for South Carolina tomorrow. As soon as I return I will go straight to Galveston again and stay there until July 6. After that I throw all of my remaining summer efforts into preparing for the upcoming marching season by conducting and calling summer workout sessions and horn sectionals.....Just an FYI, Dr. Tim has NOT retired and we WILL be going to see him again (yeh-ah!)......Anyway, I've gotta go do the dishes (the downside of my entire summer vacation). Talk later, I might be able to access a computer in South Carolina if my dearest cousin, Katie-chan, can spare me for a few seconds every other day.....

I'm leaving tomorrow, I'm leaving tomorrow, I'm leaving tomorrow, I'm leaving tomorrow, I'm leaving tomorrow, I'm leaving tomorrow, I'm leaving tomorrw.....don't mean to rub it in everyone's faces but I am going to have the best trip ever b/c I have the greatest cousin ever and I'm leaving tomorrow to go see her....so........chao tam biet everyone.

An African Proverb for everyone to ponder while I am gone.....
Let your love be like the misty rain; coming softly, but flooding the river.
