The National Guard?

I'm actually considering it. The National Guard seems like a really good idea. They say that since I turn 17 in May, I might be able to go to basic training this summer. It would be kinda cool. Yes, it would be hard work, but it sounds pretty awesome. I always intended on joining a branch of the military after graduating from college. But, anyway...I'm not sure. I think I just needed to write down my thoughts before going to rehearsal so I could concentrate on being Aunt Gertrude, my character in the play. Anyway, any thoughts? Feel free to share.
