Cold Pizza Morning

Do you like cold pizza? I love cold pizza....especially for breakfast. The perfect saturday morning always involves cold pizza. Obviously to achieve this, the Friday night before must involve vegging out with good old movies, pizza, and ice cream. Then you must fall into a sleep filled with refreshingly insignificant and regular dreams (not like my usual sleeping habits).

Although you stayed up late the night before, the rest you got was power sleep which enabled you to wake just before sunrise. With the morning light just barely starting to grey the sky you pick up the few clothes that you left on the floor the night before in your exhausted abandon. You take a shower to wash the grime from your hair and brush your teeth. You put on clean, light pajamas and make your bed. Then you pull the blinds down over the windows to dim the sunlight now streaming in through the windows. You light a few candels and one sweet stick of incense. Then you turn on some soft music, make sure not to wake anyone else up. If you are a girl, you take a small comb and very slowly and carefully brush out your hair without ripping it, then braid it and tie it with a ribbon and let it hang wet down your back. Then go to the kitchen, boil some water and pour it into a large mug and add honey and a tea bag and let it steep as you remove one piece of hamburger or pepperoni pizza from the refrigerator and go to your room to read a good but light book.

That is how my morning went until my family woke up. Then I got started cleaning the kitchen before my family had yet started to emerge from their bedrooms. Now here I am, waiting for the water to start boiling for lunch....noodles and tomato juice.....telling you about my morning. I wish all mornings were like this. Maybe someday they will be for me.....

Let your names be niether Tiombe nor Chiku, but rather Bayo and let joy indeed be found....
