Simplicity
Life........just that, it is the most amazing gift that anyone can recieve. We don't deserve it, ain't that the truth. We waste it away in foolish persuit of material goods, I am quite guilty of that. Living our lives one dollar bill at a time, we don't deserve this life, this earth that we have been given, the oxygen we breathe, the love we are capable of. We don't deserve any of it.
Even more than that, every last human being on earth has been given the chance to be born again from their sins. A chance at a second life. A chance for forgiveness for all of our foolish pursuits. What then are we to do? A gift so great, the gift of creation and life once, the gift of a beautiful earth, its waters, its oxygen, the rain, the sky, the sun, the stars, the grass beneath our feet, the oceans, the beaches on which to walk and gaze out in amazement, the brilliant sunset displayed in the sky as a picture that can exist only in the imagination. Then, the gift of second life, salvation and forgiveness for our sins, for every wickedness that we hide within the dark corners of our lives. To have those burdens cast aside and light to shine in every corner of the soul. Such salvation is beyond imagining. Such love is so great there can be no words to describe it. So what is it exactly that makes us, our human nature want to reject this gift, to throw it back into the face of one who offered it to us with all the love that He possesses?
I am guilty of sins, wickedness, from straying off the straight and narrow. Yet, even so, God still loves me, Jesus Christ still saved me. I still am forgiven. Now, what do I do? I go on. I live life, the ultimate gifts of creation and salvation. So, stop and enjoy the world that has been placed in the universe as your home. The beautiful planet tailor made for you. Breath the air, feel the wind and the sunshine on your skin, drink the water, look around you and feel the ground beneath your feet. No matter how unpleasant the task before you or how desperate the days ahead seem, nothing can remain so dark and depressing next to such joy and love. Enjoy life in all its simplicity. Thank the Lord for life, for life itself at its very core. Don't just exist to survive. Exist to live. God bless...
