Tests

Xin chao. Okay.....why the Calculus test right before school ends, right before I have to take the final, okay? why the calculus test? (I almost put 'oh my gosh' there but realized that it sounded Raini-ish) Why the tests? I don't want to take them anymore. However, one test I am not repulsed by is my placement test this summer....more specifically my theory placement test. Dr. Coreil, my future horn professor and the music theory coordinator, sent me a packet of things I should know by Freshmen Connection (freshmen orientation) this summer so they can place me in the theory program. The theory program usually takes four semesters and I have to take those a pre-requisites before I can take conducting, composition, etc. If I can skip a semester I can get to those classes sooner and hopefully shave a semester off of my graduation time which looks to be about ten semesters.....so....

Oh, speaking of tests, you have to read Chris's "Test." It is soooooo awesome....(Oh, by the way, this is my first literary criticism so please don't be mean.....)....It is a true eye-opener as far as perspective goes. It makes you realize that you continually look at things from one point of view at are blind to all points of view. How can anyone realize the truth of something if all we see is one side of it? It also thrusts the realization that most of us don't get a second chance, and really, most of us don't deserve one....

.....also, it is a fact that to each person, the sound of their own name is sweet and important.....

Lots of love you guys, chao tam biet.
