Have you ever trusted someone, even been proud of someone for who you thought they had grown to become. Now imagine the trust was torn, that it hurt. That you were torn and it hurt. Now imagine hatred. Yes, hatred burns but it at least it covers the pain. Yes, trust is a fragile thing. You think you know someone but then you find that you don't. That they would rather betray than exhibit one ounce of decency. Yes, betrayal hurts and hatred burns.
